Too few Affordable Housing units -
How to Incentivize Affordable Housing at the Local and State Level
The good news is the metro Phoenix housing market is one of the best in the US. The bad news is rising prices have outpaced incomes for many creating an affordability issue that impacts our community.
Market conditions, regulatory constraints, land prices, construction costs and limited funding have kept the number of affordable housing unit well below demand.
Join Mark Stapp with the W. P. Carey School of Business on Wednesday, Oct. 6 for a panel discussion about the ways that State and local governments along with changes at the Federal level, can help increase the number of affordable housing units to help create needed supply.
